Prayer Calendar April – May 2023 – Available

On 26 April, the Jewish State of Israel celebrates 75 years of independence! Mazzel Tov! We have collected some prayer points from the Prayer Calendars in 2003 (55th anniversary), 2008 (60th anniversary), 2013 (65th anniversary) and 2018 (70th anniversary).

2003
Pray for the nations in relation to Israel and Jerusalem, ‘For My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’ (Isaiah 56:1-8). Give thanks for the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel (Ezekiel 36). Pray that the church will rejoice in the restoration of ‘the ruined hut of David’ (Acts 15:13-18).

2008
Give thanks that the Jewish people have been entrusted with the Word of God (Romans 3:2). Give thanks that Jesus was born as a Jew (Romans 9:5). Realize that both the loss and transgression of the Jews bring us salvation (Romans 11:11-12).

2013
Pray and give thanks for Israel from Psalm 27:3: ‘Though an army besieged me, my heart would not fear; though war broke out against me, even then I will be confident.’ Psalm 119:89: ‘Your word, O LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.’

2018
The State of Israel is a miracle, and the LORD is his Keeper (Psalm 121:4). Give thanks for this miracle. Read Isaiah 44:24-28 and pray for Israel.
